I think I am going to come up with a title for each day. Monday will be "Menu Monday"! HA... how original!
Here is my menu for the week...
Monday - baked chicken (precooked on Sunday), seasoned broiled potatoes, corn.
Tuesday - steak on the grill & chicken legs, Uncle Ben's rice, steam fresh veggies
Wednesday - pasta with chicken parmesan meatballs and spaghetti sauce
Thursday - homemade shake n bake chicken, scalloped potatoes, veggie of some sort
Friday - eating out! I won a gift certificate to Outback from work so the hubs and I are going out to eat for free (or close to it)
My menu this week is not at all exciting and not much thought but this is our week! Wednesday's dinner in our house has to be quick as the eldest has dance that evening, but other than that... I like to keep it simple.
I will try and do some more precooking in the next few weeks or might double some of the meals I am making to freeze some additional, but we shall see how it goes. I would like to have lasagna in the upcoming weeks, but it depends on how quick I recoop the difference that I overspent the past two weeks.
Yes, I overspent the previous week as well. Food Lion had a great sale on chicken and I bought a ton because we love chicken and we're going to eat it anyways, so might as well buy when it's on sale or clearance!
