You take in your old printer and if you buy one of the participating HP printers then you INSTANTLY get $50 off the printer. You don’t have to wait to mail anything in, rebate to come in the mail, tracking it to make sure you don’t forget it, etc.
You can also do this online, but if you do it online then you will have to do the happy paper trail mentioned above. It’s definitely a great deal and if you are anything like me and have to get a new printer because the scanner portion of your all in one thing isn’t compatible with Windows Vista.
This is my next “big” purchase. Just don’t know when yet!
