I have a new goal in life and that is to stock up on as much as possible with it costing next to nothing.  There is a reason behind this which I will tell all about later.  I especially want to stock up on things that don’t expire like cleaning stuff, paper products, laundry supplies, toiletries, etc. and this week at HT there is a great promotion running on P&G products.  If you spend $30 on P&G, not sure if it is select products or all, but you get a $10 Visa gift card back.  It says you have to get the form from your retailer, but I will do some digging online because P&G normally has their rebate forms online.  However, before purchasing this FOR the gift card I would see if they have them at the customer service desk first.  I am going to buy the Downy regardless.

Here is the best scenario I found and I will be doing this trip at some point before the sale resets…

(3) Downy Ultra Fabric Softener, 34 oz @ 3.59 ea

(3) Secret Clinical deodorants @ 4.99 ea

(2) Mr. Clean magic erasers @ 2.99 ea

Total before coupons $31.72

Have the coupons stacked in this order to give the cashier…

(3) Align $3 coupons (or any other $3 coupon with 37000 UPC)

(3) $4 Secret Clinical strength coupons

(2) 0.50 Mr. Clean liquid, spray or eraser coupon

$31.72 – 23.00 in coupons = $8.72 + tax

Then you get your $10 Visa gift card, so this is a “free” deal.  I am going to do this amid a larger shopping trip so I’m HOPING that it works out great.
