I went to CVS and got the following…

 

(2) Old Spice Body washes - $4 each

Used BOGO free coupon

$4 OOP

 

(4) Sobe Life Waters – on sale BOGO for $1.59

Used (2) BOGO free internet printable coupons

FREE after coupons

 

Total came up to $4.87

Used a $4 ECB

Spent .87 OOP

Got $8 ECBs back

 

“Made”  $7.13

 

I also got to scan my bag tag again so I’m half way to a free $1 ECB.  It would come in handy on days like this to have a small ECB to use for the .87.  Granted I would have had to find something to make up that .13 but I’m sure there is some cheap .25 candy that would reduce my OOP spending!

 

To date here are my “numbers” for my CVS Project…

 

OOP - $11.15

Saved - $45.74

Total should have been - $56.89

80% savings!

 

I started after the first transactions with only $12.49 ECBs and now I Have $15.50 and have only spent an additional $1.39 since my first transaction.  I am well within my $20 budget for CVS and am hoping by the end of the year I will have a HUGE savings to report and a ton of free items!
